This film follows a week in the life of an aspiring folksinger, Llewyn Davis. He gets two different women pregnant and has to figure out how to help pay for their abortions. Over the course of the film, Llewyn discovers that one girlfriend didn't get an abortion and carried the pregnancy to term.
