Jennifer Ko, MLIS
Jennifer Ko is the Project Director in charge of facilitating all aspects of the California Home Abortion by Telehealth (CHAT) Study and Missed Period Pill Study at ANSIRH. Jennifer started her career at UCSF as a Clinical Research Coordinator in the Department of Medicine before becoming the Research Program Manager of the Clinical Pharmacology Program in the Division of Cardiology. She has a wealth of experience in leading federally-funded clinical studies and longitudinal multi-site clinical trials through both pre- and post-award processes, including creating and managing multiple clinical teams and working alongside external and internal regulatory bodies. Within her career at UCSF, Jennifer strives to continue to drive progress towards expanding healthcare access to people who need it most, and yet historically have been the most excluded. Outside of her work, she continues to enjoy learning about the environment through different lenses, having backpacked through diverse wilderness territories, including Banff and Landmannalaugar in Iceland. Jennifer has also worked at the SFACC as an Adoption Volunteer for the past 7 years, finding forever homes for animals in the shelter. Jennifer earned a Bachelor Degree of Science in Clinical Nutrition from the University of California, Davis and a Master of Library Science at San Jose State University.
