Isabella Villarreal

Isabella Villarreal, BA, is an administrative and program coordinator at UCSF’s Advancing New Standards in Reproductive Health. She works on ANSIRH’s Alternate Provision of Medication Abortion team. In her role, she provides executive-level support to ANSIRH’s director, staff, and general operations. Isabella operates financial management for several projects and oversees the network of clinic partners for the Medication Abortion Over-the-Counter study. Isabella spearheaded field research and data collection for the Pharmacy Monitoring Project, supporting research with implications for expanding abortion access. Isabella is passionate about fostering a community that is welcoming and supportive, leading the Culture and Inclusion Working Group at ANSIRH. Isabella earned her degree in Gender and Women’s Studies with a minor in Public Health from the University of California, Berkeley.
