Alma Franco-Flores

Alma Franco-Flores is the post-award analyst for the federal portfolio at ANSIRH. In addition to serving as one of the post-award analysts for ANSIRH, she serves as the post-award analyst for the California Prevention Training Center (CA-PTC) within Bixby. Alma began her career in Research Administration at Stanford University and joined UCSF in July 2023, bringing diverse experience as she has managed large multi-site awards that have ranged in sponsor types such as the tech and pharma industries as well as state and federal sponsors.  She has a background in biology through her undergraduate training. In her post-baccalaureate years, she pivoted to accounting and now enjoys the world of Research Administration as she describes it as the perfect medley of her background in science and finance.
