  • Erin Wingo, MSPH

    Project Manager

Erin Wingo is Project Manager for the Health Department Engagement on Abortion project. She has a wealth of experience in both quantitative and qualitative research implementation and analysis and in project management. Her research interests revolve around understanding and overcoming structural barriers that impact individual reproductive choices and sexual behavior. She has previously supported a number of studies with diverse foci, including: police impact on street-based sex worker health and safety; the healthcare needs, utilization, and access of transgender women of color; and the impact of trauma-informed care on violence resource utilization among syringe exchange clients engaged in sex work. Prior to pursuing her masters, she worked for half a decade for the National Academy of Sciences in the Division of Earth and Life Sciences. She received her MSPH in Sexual and Reproductive Health from Johns Hopkins University and her BA in Liberal Arts from Sarah Lawrence College. Outside of work, she volunteers conducting outreach with multiple harm reduction organizations in the Baltimore-DC area.
