Abortion portrayal

Veep (television)

Campaign staffer Amy is pregnant after a one-night-stand with Dan, her jerkish coworker. Amy briefly considers carrying the pregnancy to term, especially after Dan muses about needing to grow up and stop sleeping around, but Amy changes her mind after she finds Dan having sex with someone who has the same name they'd discussed giving their child. In the third episode of the season, Dan accompanies Amy to an abortion clinic in Iowa (on the campaign trail), where she has the abortion.
