When Dr. Meg Porter gets a job at Oceanside, she gets off on the wrong foot by offering abortion services, which are not supported by the partners. Dr. Violet Turner shares that she's had two abortions and has no regret or shame about that. Dr. Addison Montgomery shares that she's had one and has some sadness about it, but knows it was the right decision for her. Addison is caught in the middle of a tug-of-war in which a woman in a coma goes into labor and the father won't permit a C-section in order to save the baby in hopes that labor will bring the mother out of the coma.
