A political drama that follows Stephen, idealistic young staffer, and the lengths he goes to to try and get his candidate elected. Stephen starts a sexual relationship with Molly, a campaign intern, and later discovers that she's pregnant as a result of having sex with someone else. She needs $900 for the abortion and can't ask her family for help because they are Catholic. Stephen helps lends her money, tells her to keep the abortion a secret, and fires her from the campaign. Molly overdoses on painkillers and dies.
