Abortion portrayal

Empire (television)

Becky and Giselle argue about whether to bring hit artist Tiana onto their new record label because Tiana made a statement on her instagram that she's pro-life. Becky says this issue is personal to her because she's had an abortion. Giselle discloses that she's had one too, and that she sees this as a business opportunity for their new label, a chance to uplift women with all kinds of opinions. Becky is furious, even more so when Giselle goes behind her back and signs Tiana.
