Chance at Heaven (film)

After two years of dating, Blackstone Gorman, the owner of a gas station in the resort town of Silver Beach, MA, proposes to Marje Harris, his devoted girlfriend. Soon after, however, the wealthy Glory Franklyn moves to Silver Beach with her family, and the moment she sees handsome Blackstone, she falls in love. Blackstone falls for Glory, and Marje terminates their engagement. Glory elopes with Blackstone and moves into his small house. When Glory discovers she is pregnant, she panics, realizing the seriousness of the marriage "game," and flees to New York. After several months of separation, Blackstone learns from Marje that his wife is leaving for California and rushes to New York to stop her. No longer pregnant, Glory informs Blackstone that she wants out of the marriage. Blackstone returns to Silver Beach and Marje.
