Carrington

This World War I-era biopic portrays the deep friendship and unconventional love between painter Dora Carrington and writer Lytton Strachey. They have a lifelong romance, which is not understood by their artist friends both because of their age gap (Lytton is 15 years her senior) and because Lytton is gay. Although they both have relationships with others, including sharing some lovers, Carrington and Lytton remain each other's loyal companions. Later in life, as a result of an affair, Carrington becomes pregnant and has an abortion.
