This TV mini-series follows OB/GYN Otto Powell in the years before abortion became legal in the UK. He provides "specials," safe illegal abortions for patients, as a side hustle. The six episodes follow the social lives of the characters as their morals and medical practices are called into legal question. These two episodes are the ones that feature a Dr. Powell providing abortions, one with no incident and one in an attempt to correct the work of a subpar provider, which resulted in complications.
