Joe and Sally Therrian are going through a rough stage in their marriage: while Joe’s novels have been doing well, Sally’s film career is flailing. Joe’s been given the rights to cast and direct the screenplay of his latest book, but rather than invest in Sally’s career, he’s given the lead role to Sally’s rival, Skye Davidson.
