Martha, a secretary in the FBI’s counterintelligence department, is suspected as the culprit who bugged their office at the behest of KGB agents. While her colleagues—agents Stan Beeman and Dennis Aderholt—are reviewing her background, they note that she previously was pregnant and had an illegal abortion in 1963, during an engagement breakup with her high school sweetheart.
