ANSIRH is seeking a research assistant (RA) to recruit patients to participate in a survey. The RA will approach patients in the clinic waiting room on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Fridays, and Saturdays for approximately 12 weeks between November 2021 and March 2022. The RA will approach abortion patients and ask if they are interested in taking a 10-15 minute survey. The RA will explain study participation, assign study IDs, track participants on a recruitment log, and enter clinical data into Qualtrics. The RA position is for a well-organized person who can work well with a variety of clinic and research staff. 

This position will be in person and based in Cleveland, OH. The hourly rate for this position is $30/hour.

Job Requirements

  • Highly organized and attentive to detail
  • Comfortable with interacting with patients in an abortion clinic waiting room
  • Comfortable working in an environment in which abortion is discussed regularly

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in any field, or relevant education and experience
  • Experience in reproductive health, reproductive rights, or reproductive justice field(s)Bachelor’s degree in any field, or relevant education and experience
  • Fluency in English and Spanish
