The Autonomy-Connectedness Scale (ACS-30) is a shortened 30-item version of the Autonomy Scale (Bekker 1993). The condensed version uses a simpler 5-point scale and provides a multidimensional, clinically relevant measure of autonomy that seeks to avoid some of the restrictions of the more-complex 50-item, 7-point rating scale.
